<p>After her divorce for David Ramsay, she moved into the log cabin which Uncle Harry had built on the top of the mountain (they moved it to a lot behind her parents house). During WWII she worked in the steel mill. After she met and married Uncle Charlie they built a house on Geis Ave.</p><p> </p><p><br> <br>TKACIK – Bernice C., 91, of Laurel Crest Manor and life-long resident of Geistown, died June 28, 2008, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Oct. 31 1916, in Johnstown, daughter of Harry and Rosemary (Lulay) Dravis. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles E. Tkacik; brothers, Harry, Richard and Neal Dravis; sister, Mary Katherine Leffler; infant siblings; daughter-in-law, Anne (Betty Anne Keifline) Tkacik; and granddaughter, Roseann Leibfreid. She is survived by her sons, David of Birmingham, Ala.; and Richard “Kit,” married to the former Marlene Cononie, Geistown; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by a sister, Rosemary Pickosky. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown. Bernice was employed at Lorain Steel Corporation of Moxham during WWII, as a crane operator. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, with committal service at St. Joseph Cemetery. <br>Published in the Johnstown Tribune Democrat from 6/29/2008 - 6/30/2008. </p>
