Oros </strong></p> <p>Charles N. "Chuck" Oros died Feb. 1, 2004, at age 96. </p> <p>Mr. Oros was born Jan. 4, 1908, in Colby, Wash. He graduated from the University of Washington and moved in 1936 to Portland, where he was a photogrammetrist for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for about 30 years. He moved to Vancouver in 1996 and then in about 2000 to Battle Ground. In 1933, he married Mabel Mannon; she died in 1986. </p> <p>Survivors include his daughters, Martha Kuykendall and Fran Stevens; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. </p> <p>Remembrances to The Nature Conservancy.
