  • Story: Elma Pearl (Heiny) Bodenhorn - Obit

    "Mrs. Pearl H. Bodenhorn, widow of Edward Bodenhorn, died at the Rahbek Nursing Home at Anderson Sunday evening following a long illness. The body was brought to the Fisher Brothers Funeral Home, where friends will be received after 6 this evening. Funeral rites will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the EUB Church in charge of the Rev. David Hancock. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery. Surviving are a son, Max, here; two brothers, George Heiny of here and Claude Heiny of Noblesville; two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Guvens, Lapel and Mrs. Lula Morgan, Lawrence, Mrs. Bodenhorn was born in Hamilton County but had lived in this community most of her life. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Heiny and was a member of the EUB Church and the Ladies Aid. Her husband died in 1946"
