<p>That I, Thomas H. Hammes, a brother of the claimant Lucinda Mill Willow of John Mill and personally know that her only marriage</p><p>was that to her first husband " Samuel Jones" who died 1868 and her marriage to the soldier John Mill of July 3 1869 also</p><p>they were never divorced from each other but lived togetrher as man and wife from the of of their marriage in 1869 to when he died in 1906.</p><p>Signed Thomas H. <p>Personnaly knew Samuel Jones that former husband Lucinda Hammes Jones </p><p>now Mill who died in St Clair ,Schuylkill Co, PA on or about MArch 7, 1868</p><p>and was laid out by me a undertaker and interred in odd Fellows Cemetery, St Clair, Pa</p><p> on March 10 1868. If he had been I surely would have known it.</p><p>From a boy he was a Cripple and therefore unfit</p><p>for any Military service.</p>
