<p>A charming event of Saturday afternoon was the bridge party given by Mrs. E. J. Gallagher and Mrs. Frederick Meiners Jr. in compliment to Miss Anna Kothe of Atlanta GA. Miss Kothe is a former Galvestonian and is visiting here a guest of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Meiners and her sister-in-law, Mrs. Camille Kothe.</p><p>An attractive color scheme of pink and white was used in decoration, the home being filled with flowers. There were seven tables of players with a number of additional guests for tea.</p><p>High Score prize was won by Mrs. K. C. Johnson of Houston, second high by Mrs. R. P. Williamson Jr., low score by Mrs. Harry Gibbs and consolation by Mrs. Frederick Meiners. The honoree was presented with an attractive memento of the occasion.</p><p>A dainty two-course collation was served on prettily appointed trays which featured the chosen color scheme. Among the out-of-town guests were Mrs. A. J. Lawson and Mrs. C. K. Johnson of Houston and Miss Anna Lou Greer, visiting here from Korea. </p>
