    <p><span style="font-size: small;">Dorothy E. Millin</span><br><span style="font-size: small;"> Wednesday July 19, 2006</span></p> <p><br><span style="font-size: small;">Dorothy Eileen Millin, 85, of Mount Hope, died Sunday, July 16, 2006, at the Gundersen-Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse after complications from hip surgery.She was born on December 11, 1920, in Mount Hope, the daughter of Thomas and Mary (Friar) Mulrooney. She married Stephen W. Millin. They both worked for the watch factory in Elgin, Ill.</span><br> <br><span style="font-size: small;"> She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Elgin. Later, Dorothy went to work in a psychiatric hospital for the State of Illinois until her retirement. She came to live in Wisconsin so she would be close to family, five years ago when she started having health problems. Two years ago, she started living at the Walter Schmidt Independent Living Center in Prairie du Chien.</span><br> <br><span style="font-size: small;"> She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Paulette Millin, Ladysmith; one grandson, Steve (Sally) Millin, Ladysmith; one granddaughter, Renee Fortin, South Beloit, Ill.; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Dick and Thomas Millin; three sisters, Lenore McKevitt, Evelyn Richter, and Ruth Koschkee; and one brother, Jerald Mulrooney.</span><br> <br><span style="font-size: small;"> Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence O'Toole Catholic Church in Mount Hope with Father George Horath officiating. Burial will be in St. Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery, Mount Hope Township. </span></p>
