<span>OBITUARY</span><span> The death took place on Tuesday</span><span> morning last of Miss Annie McKinnon</span><span> a very old and respected resident of</span><span> <span>Warracknabeal</span>. The late Miss Mc</span><span>kinnon's father landed in Portland in</span><span> 1854, and he and his wife and family</span><span> came to the Wimmera as far back as</span><span> 1873. The late Miss <span>Mackinnon</span>, who,</span><span> was 72 years of age, came with her</span><span> parents and other members of the fam</span><span>ily to Ailsa when she was 14 years </span><span> of age, and knew what Pioneering in</span><span> the north-west meant to those new</span><span> arrivals. Of the family there is only</span><span> one remaining and that is a sister, now</span><span> Mrs. Simpson, well and popularly known</span><span> in Rupanyup. About 40 years ago she</span><span> went to <span>Warracknabeal</span> in ??????? pri</span><span>vately for some years, and later she</span><span> took over the house known as ?????</span><span> don," and kept a public boarding </span><span> house. The remains were interrred at</span><span> the <span>Warracknabeal</span> cemetery on ??? </span><span> day.</span>
