<font face="Courier New,Courier"><font size="-1">Bertha Elizabeth Hutson, daughter of Bob and Mary Heatherly Lansdown, was born Sep 24, 1912, in Mansfield, MO. She departed this life Saturday, Jun 28, 1997, in St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield, MO, at the age of 84 years, 9 months and 4 days. On Jun 27, 1969, she was united in marriage to Jessie Vivian Hutson, and together they shared 19 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jessie in 1988; 3 brothers James, Virgil and Leonard Lansdown; 4 sisters Minnie Stubbs, Maude Holmes, Lena Lansdown, and Dorothy Renfrow; a step-son Vernon Hutson; and a step-daughter Vivian Hill. Bertha is survived by a brother Clarence Lansdown of Hartville, MO; 4 step-sons Bill Hutson of Hartville, MO, Ray Hutson of Mansfield, MO, Paul Hutson of Kansas City, KS, and Darrell Hutson of Lenexa, KS; 3 step-daughters Mytella Shepard and Ruby Dugger, both of Hartville, MO, and Lola Hutson of Ava, MO; a number of step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nehews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was born in Wright County and raised in Wright and Douglas Counties. She had made her home in the Hartville area for many years and was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family. Bertha had made her profession of faith in Christ and was for 30 years a member of the Sunshine Church. She enjoyed playing the guitar and singing at her church. In her spare time she liked gradening, growing beautiful flowers, and sewing. Her family was very important to her and she enjoyed spending time with them. Bertha will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Burial Steele Memorial Cemetery.</font></font>
