Cordani passed away at Cedar Hill Health Care Center in Randolph, Dec. 8,2010 at the age of 86. Born in Boston, he was raised in Fields Corner, Dorchester and gradated from Dorchester High School. He was a Navy veteran World War II and lookout for the USS New Jersey. William worked many years for South Shore Packing & Consolidated in Boston. He was also a security guard at Stone & Webster in Boston for 10 years. William enjoyed playing cribbage. Beloved husband of the late Helen E. (Fitzgerald) Cordani. Devoted father of William R.Cordani of Weymouth, Margaret Burrows of Rochester, NY, Frances McDonald of Maine and Marissa Cohen of Holbrook. Brother of the late Peter Cordani, Louis Cordani, Louisa Previdi and Mary Young. Also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral prayer service in the East Weymouth McDonald Funeral Home, corner of Charles and Middle Sts., Friday at 1:00 p.m. Relatives and friends invited.
