    <p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Point Veteran&#39;s Medical Center, Perryville.&nbsp; He was 69.&nbsp; Born July 15, 1925 in Somerville, Mass., he was the son of the late William Patrick and Gerda Lane Brennick.&nbsp; After graduating from Somerville Catholic School in 1943, he joined the U.S. Air Force.&nbsp; He was a radio operator, serving in the Pacific Theatre of Operations, where he received a Purple Heart, World War II Victor Medal and the American Area Ribbon.&nbsp; After his release from active duty in 1946 with the rank of coporal, he enlisted in U.S. Navy in 1947.&nbsp; He served for three years in the Pacific Theatre of Operations.&nbsp; Following his tour of duty, he&nbsp;made his home briefly in Florida and Massachuesetts, where he trained as a fireman and laer as a marine engineer with the Marine Engineering Beneficial Association.&nbsp; In 1968, he moved to Cordova, remaining with the merchant marines until his retirement in 1979.&nbsp; He was a member of V.F.W. Post 5118 in Easton.&nbsp; He also served as a counselor with AA as well as the Bethany House in Cordova.&nbsp; Mr. Brennick is survived by his wife, the former Graciela Taraway, whom he married in 1949, two sons, Julio C. Brennick of Seaford, Del., and Charles J. Brennick Jr. of Cordova: two daughters, Maria del-Carmen Covey of Royal Oak and Ana M. Raughley of Easton: a brother, Donald Brennick of Massachusetts: a sister, Patricia DeBowik of Edgewater, Fla., and 10 grandchildren.&nbsp; Memorial services will be held at 9:30 a.m. , Tuesday, Dec. 27 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Easton.&nbsp; Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Easton.&nbsp; Memorial donations may be made to thhe American Lung Association of Maryland, P.O. Box 2231, Baltimore, Md.&nbsp; 21203-2231.&nbsp; Arrangements by Newnam Funeral Home, Easton.</p>
