    <font face="MinionPro-Regular" size="2"><font face="MinionPro-Regular" size="2"><p align="left">Anncharlene Dresner, 64, a Jewish Community Center director</p><p align="left">for many years, passed away Jan. 26, 2010, after a long illness.</p><p align="left">Anncharlene was born and raised in Bangor, Maine. She graduated</p><p align="left">University of Maine and went on to receive a master&rsquo;s degree</p><p align="left">in social work from Boston University and a second master&rsquo;s degree</p><p align="left">from Hebrew Union College in California. Dresner was the</p><p align="left">Director of the the Tulsa Jewish Community Center from 1973</p><p align="left">through 1976. Graveside services were held February 1st, at Beth</p><p align="left">Israel Cemetery, Bangor.</p></font></font>

Anncharlene was born and raised in Bangor. She graduated from Bangor High School and the University of Maine, Orono. She went on to receive a master&#39;s degree in social work from Boston University and a second master&#39;s degree from Hebrew Union College in California. After retiring from the Jewish Community Center, she ran the Adult Learning Program, Needham, Mass. Before her illness Anncharlene was an avid traveler. She visited many exotic locales and brought back souvenirs from her adventures. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and cooking. Among her friends and family she developed quite a reputation as a chef. She is survived by her brother, Byron and his wife, Judy; and nieces, Michelle and Stephanie. In addition she leaves behind many cousins and her many friends. Graveside services will be held noon Monday, Feb. 1, at Beth Israel Cemetery, Bangor.
