Farmer. Address at death 160 Green Street, Lockhart.
Per "Of Days Gone By" compiled by Helen Scott and Bob Wright, 1991. ' Turner was the son of Harold and Adela Seberry, of the nearby "Glen Earn" property. In 1937 Turner married Clara Davis, the daughter of Thomas ("Dummy") and Maggie Davis from the Faithfull district property of "Lundee". They had a daughter, Patricia Margaret (known as Margaret). Sadly Clara died in 1940 aged 22 years. Turner remarried in 1943 to Mona Bourke, the daughter of Mrs Jane Wingate (formerly Bourke) and the late Mr John Bourke. They had two children during their time at "Fairfield". In 1948 Turner sold "Fairfield". The western 280 acres which included the house and sheds was sold to next door neighbours Rueben and Vera Irons. The eastern 280 acres portion was bought by Eric and Madge Wright, who now owned "Glen Earn". Mona and Turner then purchased a farm on the north end of the Galore Hill called "Drayton Park". While residing there they had two more children. .......... Tragically Colleen died during the polio epidemic of 1951. "Drayton Park" was Mona and Turner's home for many years before they moved to Lockhart to live. '
