<p>He was the son of a founder of the International Paper Company. His father was credited with introducing in the United States the manufacture of paper from wood pulp and with building the country's first wood-pulp mill, at Curtisville, now Interlake, Mass, in 1867.</p><p>Albrecht Jr. had been president of the Manufacturers Paper Company in New York and a vice president of the Central Paper Company of Muskegon, Mich. He was a former president of the board of trustees of the Storm King School at Cornwall, N.Y. and a former director of the Garfield National Bank, which was merged with what is now the Chase Manhattan Bank. He was active in the Chamber of Commerce of New York State and was on the national panel of the American Arbitration Association. He had served in Company K of the Seventh Regiment, New York National Guard.</p><p>Source --- New York Times, March 5, 1964</p>
