Ledwith, 77, formerly of Old Saybrook, died Wednesday (Jan. 21, 1998), at her home in Bucksport, ME. She was born May 13, 1920, in Hartford, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Murphy) Cronin. She was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Bucksport. She was associated with H.O.M.E. Co-op in Orland, ME for 20 years. Surviving are her children, Gerald and his wife Grace Ledwith of Bangor, ME., Mark Ledwith of Moodus, Connecticut, and Brian and his wife Shelly Ledwith of Florda; a twin sister, Mary Burke of Casper, WY; a sister, Josephine Barry and her husband Michael of Orland, ME., and a brother, John Cronin and his wife Louise of Manchester; six grand children, several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 9 a.m. Tuesday January 27, at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Franklin St. in Bucksport, with Fr. John O'Hara, celebrant. Interment will be private. Those who wish may make donations to H.O.M.E. Co-op, care of Lucy Poulin, Box 10, Orland, Maine 04472. Arrangements by Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 14 Elm St., Bucksport, Maine.</p></div></div>
