<p>Monessen police today were searching for two youths who knocked down 81 year old Mrs. Policrity Zombakis of 468 Parkway, Monessen in broad daylight yesterday, grabbed her purse containing $10 and then fled leaving the injured woman lying on the Sixth St. steps between Park Way & Schoonmaker Ave. Mrs. Zombakis suffered hip and left elbow injuries. She was reported as "resting comfortably" in Charleroi Monessen Hospital this morning. She described the youths as being black and about 18 years of age. The attack occurred about 11:15 a.m. </p>
<font face="Verdana" size="2" color="#000000">Mrs. Policriti Zombakis of 468 Parkway, Monessen, died suddenly at 1:26 P.M Saturday shortly after admission to Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. She was born in Chios, Greece and had resided in Monessen since 1948. She was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church, Monessen, and the Philoptochos Society of the church. Preceding her in death were her husband, George Zombakis, who died in 1960, and a brother, Epaminonta Vassiaiadis, who died in 1975. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Steve (Anastasia) Tetteris Jr. of Monessen, Mrs. Anthony (Virginia) Kritis of Brooklyn, NY. And Mrs. Stefanos (Eleanor) Mikedis of Chios, Greece; one son, Demos Zombakis of Louisville, KY; one sister, Lemonia Koliarou of Chios, and 13 grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., Monessen, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM today. </font> <br> <br>
