<p>Dorothy M. Linstrom, 62, of 496 Eaton St., died yesterday at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the widow of John A. Linstrom. She was employed as a payroll office clerk at City Hall for 14 years until becoming ill May 3.<br>She was born in Providence a daughter of the late James and Madelyn G. (Knowles) Mainey. She lived in the Elmhurst section of the city all of her life. She leaves a son, Richard B. Linstrom, at home; six daughters, Mrs. Judith A. Pine of East Providence, Mrs. Patricia M. McKenna of Smithfield, Mrs. Dorothy M. Kennedy of Manchester, N.H., Mrs. Mary Ann Carpentier of Burrillville, Mrs. Susan Raye Howland of Cranston and Mrs. Madelyn G. Morrison of Brockton, Mass.; five sisters, Mrs. Madelyn G. Searle of Glocester, Mrs. Elizabeth A. Tallman of Narragansett, Mrs. Marilyn Tonnesson of Melrose, Mass., Mrs. Norma Hennessey of North Providence, and Mrs. Ann McGee of Reston, Va.; three brothers, Richard L. Mainey, of Brooklyn, N.Y., William Mainey of Woodbridge, Va., and Thomas I. Mainey of Smithfield, and 13 grandchildren.<br>The funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from the George F. Hoey Home, 168 Academy Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Pius Church, Eaton Street.
