Thomas George Doile was born to James H. Doile and Charlotte Sharpe, the second of their children. He was a handsome man and on the 24 Dec 1884 he married Eleanor Blenkarn from England in the First Congresional Church in Emporia, Kansas. <br>Notice in the Sunday church record of the First United Bretheren Church, Wichita, Kansas<br>Thomas George Doile was born September 15, 1860 in Emporia, Kansas and passed at the home of his son, Cyril in Pratt, Kansas. He had the good fortune to be born in a Christian home, and lived in the faith all his life. He was a willing worker for Christ. He was a member of the First United Brethren Church. The early part of his life was spent near Emporia, Kansas, as a Market Gardner. For thirty years he has lived in Wichita, employed at the Dold Packing company as a butcher. Later working for the Fred Harvey House for 10 years. <br>He was united in marriage to Eleanor Maude Blenkarn 24 December 1884. To this union there were 12 children born, 5 of them proceded him in death. Those surviving are Cyril, Alfred, Lottie (Justice), Katherine (Waits) Florence (Virden) and Ruth (Irvin) & Lillian Eleanor (Rounds). He leaves one sister, Agnes (Hammond), and one brother, Printice I. Doile. <br><br>(note I am from Printice, I lived in Phoenix, AZ in 2000 and Eleanor Waits Ramsey, grandaughter of Thomas lived next door to me.) Linda Doile Morris<br>
<p>5/24/12- K & I went today to find Cora, Agnes & Thomas George's grave sites here in Wichita, KS. Found all 3, however Cora & Agnes are not SPECIFICALLY listed on any gravestones (though are notated in the Maple Grove Cemetery computer (across the street)). </p><p>A Hammond (Section 1, Lot 293, Space 6) & C Unger (Section 1, Lot 281, Space 5) are buried in Highland Cemetery-1001 N. Hillside Ave. (Hillside & 9th) Wichita, KS. This cemetery is now under the authority of the City Parks Dept. It was suggested to us, to contact them for more info @ 316-337-9225 as there is no office on site. Their records possibly have name of Mortuary which handled the burial, then contact www.kansas.gov/ksbma for even further info. Some records are housed in the Public Library & some @ the Historical Society/Old City Hall (across the street from the library). </p><p>T is buried at the Old Mission Cemetery 3424 E. 21st St. N, Wichita, KS. Section H, Lot 31, Space 4, on Hillside side of the Cemetery.</p>
