    <p>ISHPEMING - Kenneth Charles Tremethick, age 72, of 445 W. Johnson St., passed away Friday, August 1, 2008 at Marquette General Hospital.</p><p>Kenneth was born on January 8, 1936, the son of the late Charles and Ann (Champion) Tremethick in Ishpeming. Kenneth was a lifelong area resident other than a short time spent in Colorado. He served in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion Lillian Larson Post 104, AmVets, Disabled American Veterans, and the VFW Post 4573. He enjoyed game shows, police shows, going to the casino and dogs. Kenneth especially enjoyed visiting with people and spending time with his grandchildren and family.</p><p>Kenneth is survived by three sons: Martin (Mary Jane) Tremethick of Negaunee, John (Pam) Tremethick of Ishpeming, Dennis (Edith) Tremethick of Vacaville, Calif., a daughter: Ann Marie (Steven) Bailey of Ishpeming; seven grandchildren, Steve, Jonathan, William, Neil, Kevin, Armand, and Rebecca; a great-granddaughter Emelia; a brother Raymond, and several nieces and nephews. Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Janet (Williams) Tremethick, on February 23, 2008 and siblings, David and Carol.</p><p>Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at the Bjork &amp; Zhulkie Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with Pastor Lauri O. Maki officiating. The family will greet friends and relatives from noon until the time of services at 2 p.m. The Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 380 will have a military honors service following the funeral.
