<p>15 June 1995</p><p><span style="background-color: #f4e99d; color: #000000">RAYMOND E</span>. <span style="background-color: #f4e99d; color: #000000">GRINROD</span>, 79, of Manila Bay Drive, Orlando, Fla., died Friday at Sand Lake Hospital in Orlando. He was the husband of the late Mildred <span style="background-color: #f4e99d; color: #000000">E</span>. (Nelson) <span style="background-color: #f4e99d; color: #000000">Grinrod</span>. </p><p>Born in Cranston, a son of the late Alva (Crook) Keith, he lived in Lincoln formany years before moving to Orlando five years ago. </p><p>Mr. Ginrod was a mechanical engineer and had attended the York Institute, Bucknell University, and the Rhode Island School of Design. He was a pilot in the Royal Air Force before being commissioneda captain in the Army Air Forces in World War II. He received the Silver Star. </p><p>After World War II, he became sales manager for the former Lincoln & Lane Co. in Pawtucket from 1946 to 1957. In 1957, he became general manager of the William N. Harris Co. in Providence, and retired in 1984. He was a member of Jencks Lodge 24 F & AM in Pawtucket, the Palestine Shrine, and AAONMS in Cranston. He was a charter member of the Lincoln Country Club, and the Kirkbrae Country Club. He was a member of theTo Kalon Club in Pawtucket, and a past member of the Lions Club. He was a member of the Providence Engineering Society, and the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditoning Engineers. He was a past member of the Sayles MemorialChurch. </p><p>He leaves a daughter, Priscilla <span style="background-color: #f4e99d; color: #000000">E</span>. Erickson of Narragansett; a stepdaughter, Meredyth C. Church of Providence, and five grandchildren. He was the father of the late Karen R. Coates. </p><p>A Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving will be heldSaturday at 10 a.m. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Rd. </p>
