It appears that he may have been held at Darlinghurst whilst en route to Parramatta - there does not appear to have been any offence committed. This article makes mention of the fact that a bullock team was being worked between Quirindi and Singleton. Although the matter is inconsequential, it does perhaps establish a relationship between Toffts and Humphrey and the fact that they were in the habit of being associated with bullock teams between Singleton and Quirindi.)</span></p>
