    <p>Angelo (Evangelos) Koutsoukis</p> <p>Born Castellorizo 1886 - Arrived WA 1908</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Angelo Koutsoukis was the son of Chrissafina (Toulouza) and Constantine Koutsoukis - Mayor of Castellorizio for 20 years around the turn of the century. Constantine was apparently well respected, and in a citation presented at his passing in 1914 was described as 'benefactor of our schools'.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Angelo was the first of his family to emigrate to WA (1908). His siblings and mother arrived in the later years - Jack, Polyxeni (Manolas), Nick, George, Phillip, Evdokia (Gemenis), Maria (Stamatoglou), Michael and Basil.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Koutsoukis brothers ran a number of cafes in Fremantle and Perth including the Strand, and the Kookaburra Cafe. Angelo was a cook, and it is assumed that he worked at these cafes as well as the Olympia, United Nations and Sydney Cafes.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>It appears that Angelo spent his entire working like as a cook for a short stint as a shop keeper in the early 1930's. He was a hard worker who worked extremely long hours and never took holidays. He had a talent for music and played the violin and mandolin. Apparently he could speak five languages.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Angelo married Violet Wallace on 19 August 1920 and they had 3 sons - Robert, Con and Albert. They lived at many different addresses including 10 Ellen Street, 4 Parry St &amp; 49 Arundel St, Fremantle; 106 &amp; 121 Lincoln St, Highgate: 36 Fifth Ave, Mt Lawley; Central Ave, Inglewood; and Stirling St &amp; 242 Beaufort St, Perth.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Oldest son Bob (Robert) married Dulcie in 1949. They had six children; Coralie, Robert, Kristine, Rosalie, Michael and Cossette.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Second son Con accidentally hung himself at 14 after reading a magazine article about escapology.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Third son Albert, married Gwen Taylor on 18 January 1955. They had 4 Children - Peter, David, Elizabeth and Helen. Peter remains a bachelor. Elizabeth married David Pretsel and has 2 children - Cameron and Hannah. David married Anna Lawrence and has 2 children - Samuel and Matthew. Helen married John Herzig and has 5 children - Molly, Hannah, Rachel, Laura and Benjamin. They live in the USA.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Albert was a high achiever and a respected historian, educator and author. Some of his achievements include: WA Champion &amp; Runner-up Australian Junior Chess Champion, Stat 110 &amp; 220 yard Schoolboy Sprint Champion, Quiz Kid (a famous radio show in the 50's), First teacher to introduce work experience in WA Schools, University lecturer in PNG, President of 2 associations and author of 52 books. He passed away on 1 June 2004.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Albert's son David has a passion for ancient Greek history and a keen interest in Castellorizian migration to Australia - and the circumstances behind the subsequent success of many Cazzies in the country.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Angelo Koutsoukis died on 20 January 1950, and was laid to rest in the Greek Orthodox section of Karakatta cemetery.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>N.B Koutsoukis may have originally been spelt Koutsoukos and Angelo may have been born in 1889.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Original written by David Koutsoukis</p> <p>Re-Written out by Tracey Richter.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Robert and Dulcie's children ended up married with children;</p> <p>Coralie married Norman Skewes and have 3 children - Natasha, Aaron and Benjamin. Coralie also has 2 children to Robert Robinson in a previous marriage - Tania and Kelly, also Adopted into the family was Michelle.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Robert married twice, first marriage was to Sue they had 3 children - Jarrod, Samantha &amp; Belinda. His second marriage was to Gloria and they had 2 children - Robbie and James.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Kristine married Allan White and they had 3 children - David, Geoffrey and Tracey. David married Sharon Della; Geoffrey married Rachel Kiddie and they have 2 children - Max and Hayden. Tracey married Joel Richter.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Rosalie married twice, first marriage was to Eric Miles and they had 3 children - Rebecca, Elise and Matthew. Second marriage was to Robert and this marriage has no children.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Michael married 3 times, the details of the first marriage are UN-known, his second was to Belinda Chan and they had 4 children - Joshua, Michaela, Madison and Julian. And his third marriage is with out children.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Cossette married Trevor Kenney and they had 3 children - Amanda, Katherine and Trevor Jnr.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Robert passed away on 9th May 1968 (47 yrs), Leaving Dulcie to raise 6 children on her own. He is buried in the Mormon section of Karakatta cemetery.</p> <p>After the death of Robert, Dulcie moved many times with the children which include; Belmont, Beckenham and settled in Armadale in a 3 person duplex up until she was placed in a aged care facility in Byford, 2010. She suffered with Dementia for 3 years leading up to her death in Armadale Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones and extended family.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Dulcie passed away recently on the 12 March 2012, leaving behind a menagerie of grandchildren.
