Clemens Donald Sik

<p><span style="font-size: large;">Clemens Donald Sik was born on Aug. 6, 1924, in Hendricks, to Frank and Theresa (Pytlewichv) Sik. He grew up in rural Ivanhoe. On Oct. 5, 1948, he was united in marriage to Betty Hurd. The couple farmed in the Ivanhoe area until moving to Marshall in 1960. Clem worked as a mechanic for John Deere for 55 years. He enjoyed hunting, playing cards, fishing, camping, going to the casino and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. In April 2011, he moved to Sioux Falls due to failing health.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: large;">He is survived by his son Richard Sheik of Pequot Lakes, son Roger Sik of Taunton, daughter Jean Woltjer of Sioux Falls, S.D., five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: large;">He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty and infant son Michael.</span></p>
