<p align="center"><strong>Fred Beseler Dies Following Stroke</strong></p><p align="left">Fred Beseler, Winona contractor fo the last 35 years, died suddenly at his home at noon today at the age of 68. Mr. Beseler was in good health until Sunday when he suffered a stroke and his condition gradually weakened.</p><p align="left">Mr. Beseler had been a resident of Winona for the last 50 years, most of the time of which he was in the contracting business. He was born in Buffalo County, September 10, 1864, and came to Winona when a young man.</p><p align="left">He resided at 1174 West Broadway, where he died, and was a member of the St. Mathew's Lutheran Church for many years.</p><p align="left">Mr. Beseler is survived by his wife, Louisa; one son Herman of Minneapolis; three daughters, Mrs. Carl Kropp and Mrs. William Tadewald of Winona and Mrs. Arthur Hulstrand of Detroit, and one sister, Mrs. P.JU. Spittler of West Prairie, Wis.</p><p align="left">Funeral services aare incomplete.</p>
