Aich, 82, of 2320 Cragmont St., died Wednesday, July 27, 2005, at his residence.</strong></span><br><br></div> <div style="text-align: ;" align="left"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong> </strong></span></div> <div style="text-align: ;" align="left"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>He was born July 31, 1922, in China, the son of Stephen Gus and Florence R. Geyman Aich. He retired after 22 years of employment at the former Rexnord-Chain Belt Co. He was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church; the Knights of Columbus; the American Legion, Jefferson Post No. 9; and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.</strong></span><br><br></div> <div style="text-align: ;" align="left"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong> </strong></span></div> <div style="text-align: ;" align="left"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>Surviving are his wife, Dolores M. Glore Aich; three daughters, Mary Aich of Indianapolis, Millie Kinman and Marie Royalty, both of Madison; one son, Robert L. Aich of Niceville, Fla.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.</strong></span><br><br></div> <div style="text-align: ;" align="left"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong> </strong></span></div> <div style="text-align: ;" align="left"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>He was preceded in death by his parents.</strong></span><br><br></div> <div style="text-align: ;" align="left"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong> </strong></span></div> <div style="text-align: ;" align="left"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick’s Chapel on State Street, with burial in St. Anthony’s Cemetery in China.</strong></span><br><br></div> <div style="text-align: ;" align="left"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong> </strong></span></div> <div style="text-align: ;" align="left"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Vail-Holt Funeral Home Madison Chapel.</strong></span><br><br></div> <div style="text-align: ;" align="left"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong> </strong></span></div> <div style="text-align: ;" align="left"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>The rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.</strong></span><br><br></div> <div style="text-align: ;" align="left"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong> </strong></span></div> <div style="text-align: ;" align="left"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>Military graveside services will be conducted by the Honor Guard of Jefferson Post 9.</strong></span><br><br></div> <div style="text-align: ;" align="left"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong> </strong></span></div> <div style="text-align: ;" align="left"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the King’s Daughters’ Hospital Home Health and Hospice; or Friends of Shawe and Pope John Schools, Inc.
