<p><strong>Erven C. Erber of Woodstock <br></strong><br>Services for Erven C. Erber , 75, formerly of Mountain Home, Ark., will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, at County Memorial Park Chapel, 11301 Lake Ave., Woodstock. The Rev. Roger Schneider, pastor of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, will officiate. <br><br>Born Feb. 14, 1923, in Des Plaines, he died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 1998, at his home. Interment will follow the services. <br><br>Mr. Erber was a retired plant manager for Ero Industries in Chicago and Crystal Lake. Following his retirement, he managed three motels for 12 years. <br><br>Among his special interests, he was past governor of the Woodstock Moose Lodge and a member of the VFW. <br><br>Survivors include his son, David (Nancy) Erber of Naperville; daughters, Sherry (Thomas) Trojanowski of Steger and Janice (Fred) Strang of Woodstock; grandchildren, Steven and Craig Strang of Woodstock, and Andrew and Karissa Erber of Naperville; brothers, Wilbert Erber of Harvard, George (Alice) Erber Jr. of Woodstock and Elmer (Ione) Erber of North Carolina; sister-in-law, Alda Erber of McHenry; and many loving nieces and nephews. <br><br>He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Erber (nee Griswold); parents; one brother; and one sister. <br><br>Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. Saturday, at the chapel. <br>Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Northeastern ILlinois,410 Hager, Barrington, IL 60010, or to the Woodstock Rescue Squad. <br><br>Arrangements were made by Windridge Funeral Home, Ltd., Cary.
