Vance at St. Stephen's Church at 8 Thursday morning was the conclusion to a series of weddings of unusual interest, because of the prominence of the young couples involved.</p><p>The cememony was performed by the pastor, Rev. W. J. Rice, and the church was very handsomely decorated for the occasion. There was also special music by the children's choir, assisted by Miss Mildred Jacobs, who sang the bridal chorus from Lohengrin as the party approached the altar ...</p><p> The attendants were Miss Mayme Peichert as bridesmaid, and Fred Aich as groomsman... Following the wedding ceremony a wedding breakfast was spread at the home of the bride's mother, at 438 Strongs Avenue, by Mrs. P. J. Kellar, caterer...</p><p>The guests from out of town included: Mrs. D. B. Collins and little daughter of Fargo, North Dakota, James and William Vance, brothers of the groom, from Delavan [WI], Mrs. John Collins and Mrs. Margaret Weisen of Rhinelander, J. Aich and son, Alvin and daughter, Miss Camilla, of Fond Du Lac.</p><p>A reception followed during the afternoon until train time, when Mr. and Mrs. Vance took the 5:15 train for the west. They will spend a few days at La Crosse, Minneapolis, and other points, en route to their future home in Sioux Falls, S.D., where Mr. Vance is the city agent for the United States Express Company. They will be at home after Nov. 1st at 231 Minnesota Avenue S. in that city...</p><p>Mrs. Aich is the younger daughter of one of Stevens Point's oldest and best known families. She was raised and educated in this city and is a young woman of many attainments and sterling character. Mr. Vance was formerly local agent for the U.S. Express Co. for 13 months, but about two years ago was placed in charge of the Sioux Falls office as a promotion ...</p>
