Ignatz emigrated in 1854 as well and was the 2nd child of 16 children. No brothers or sisters are known. Ignatz was born in 1827 and was from Posen Prussia. Franz allegedly was born in 1824. It is possible, that Franz was the oldest of these 16 children, however, no evidence has been introduced to prove this as a fact. I am looking for more information as my dad is the great grandson of Johann John Stoik(es) who is brother to Franz Stoik and Ignatz Engus Ignatius Stoik. These are the only three that I have found. Casper(who is the son of Johann) obit states that he was one of 11 children.
Casper Stoikes was my Grandfather, he was the son of Johann. He was one of 11, 4 boys & 7 girls. Ron Stoikes reskhs@hotmail.com
