<p>Obit notice found in the New Castle news, Tuesday 10 Dec 1957</p><p> </p><p>Albert Deiger's Sister Succumbs</p><p> Albert Deiger, 24 Smithfield St has received word of the death of his sister, Mrs Rozena Deiger, Turner, 84, 3102 E State St, Hickory Twp, Mercer County. She died at 10 p.m. Saturday in her home after a brief illness.</p><p> She had lived in Hickory Twp. for the past 30 years and was born in Brookfield, O., a daughter of John F and Jane Buchanan, Deiger. She was married to John W. Turner in 190 and he died July 26. She was a member of the Sharon UP Church and the</p><p> Surviving in addition to her brother Albert are one daughter Mrs. Isophene McCullough at home, three sisters, Mrs. Anna Hanna, New Castle, Mrs May Zook, Mercer, Mrs. Ida Holsapfel, Jackson Center; two brothers, Roy Shiderly, Mahoningtown, and Fred Shiderly, Darlington.</p><p> Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the McConnell Funeral Home, Sharon, with Dr William H. Lawrence in charge. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.</p><p> Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.</p>
<p>This announcement was found in the New Castle News</p><p>Turner-Deiger</p><p> A very quiet but pretty wedding took place Wednesday evening, March 14th at 8 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Jane Deiger, near Greenfield, PA. At that hour Rev. Stewart, pastor of the Unity church, said the words that united the lives and fortunes of Miss Rosezena Deiger and John W. Turner of Mercer county. James Fox acted ass best man and Miss Mary Deiger of this city, a sister of the bride, as bridesmaid. Only the intimate friends of the couple witnessed the ceremony, after which an elegant wedding supper was served. The table decorations were pink and white and the wedding cake was furnished by the Womans' Exchange of this city. The bride and groom received many beautiful presents. The bride is a former resident of this city. The many friends of the bridal couple united in wishing them a long and happy journey through life.</p>
