<p><span style="font-family: georgia,palatino; font-size: medium;"><strong>BERNAL </strong>- In San Jose, January 1, 1906, Daniel, beloved son of Donisio and Henrietta Bernal and brother of Manuel, Claude, Neta and Velma Bernal, a native of California aged 6 months.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: georgia,palatino; font-size: medium;"><strong>BENJAMIN</strong> - In Los Angeles, Cal., Feb. 4, 1920, Neta M. Benjamin, loving daughter of Henrietta Bernal, and loving sister of Manuel Alarid, Velma, Claude and Henrietta Bernal, a native of California, aged 24 years.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: georgia,palatino; font-size: medium;">Death today had claimed Mrs. <strong>Henrietta (Escobar) Cadwallader</strong>, a native of New Almaden and a member of a pioneer family for which Cadwallader Park is named. She succumbed last night following an illness complicated by infirmities of age.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: georgia,palatino; font-size: medium;">Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a.m. in the Monahan, O'Brien and Moriarty Chapel, thence to St. Joseph's Church, for a requiem mass commencing at 9:45 a.m. Interment will be in Santa Clara Catholic Cemetery.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: georgia,palatino; font-size: medium;">Mrs. Cadwallader was the mother of Mrs. Velma Mendoza and Claude Bernal of San Jose, Mrs. Henrietta Hanson of Oakland and Manuel Alarid of San Francisco, and the sister of Mrs. Lena Richards of Vallejo. She leaves six grandchildren.</span></p>
