Born on November 16, 1920 to the late S. Loraine Boerger and Ursia Rhea Boerger, she was a 1939 graduate from South Side High School. She worked at Lincoln Life Insurance Company for 25 years before retiring.</span><span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; font-size: 17px; font-family: 'times new roman', georgia, serif; vertical-align: baseline; color: #444444; line-height: 24.265625px;">Kathlyn</span><span style="color: #444444; font-family: 'times new roman', georgia, serif; font-size: 17px; line-height: 24.265625px;">&nbsp;was a member of the Eastern Star # 514, widows of the Shrine, Rebeka lodge, and Aldersgate United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She has taught private piano lessons to many children over the years.&nbsp;</span><span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; font-size: 17px; font-family: 'times new roman', georgia, serif; vertical-align: baseline; color: #444444; line-height: 24.265625px;">Kathlyn</span><span style="color: #444444; font-family: 'times new roman', georgia, serif; font-size: 17px; line-height: 24.265625px;">&nbsp;sang in the Wesley Church Choir and played the English hand bells for many years.
