    <font size="1"><p>&nbsp;</p><font size="1"><p>Has stone with Beatrice in Resurrection Cemetery, no death date listed, not known if he is buried there.</p><p>BEMBOOM</p><p>&nbsp;Published: Sunday, June 13, 1999 12:00 AM CDT </p></font><p>Bernard J. Bemboom, 86, Antioch, Tenn., formerly of Jefferson City, died June 7, 1999, at National Health Center, Nashville, Tenn. </p><p>He was born Dec. 14, 1912, in Jefferson City, a son of William J. and Anna Kauffman Bemboom. He was married in Jefferson City to Beatrice Steinmetz, who died Jan. 30, 1983. He was married in Antioch to Melba Williams, who died Nov. 9, 1996. </p><p>A graduate of St. Peters High School, he worked for Rodeman Supply Co. and also for the government in the transportation bureau. He retired as assistant foreman for Brown Shoe Co. after 33 years with the company. He then worked for the Jefferson City Street Department. </p><p>He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He had been active with Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts in the area. </p><p>Survivors include: two sisters, Mary Ann Bemboom and Carrie Novick, both of Jefferson City; one brother, William Bemboom, Lebanon; two stepdaughters, Peggy Coleman, Antioch, and Anita Wolfe, Greensberg, N.C.; and one granddaughter. </p><p>One son, Robert C. Bemboom, died Dec. 14, 1991. </p><p>Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Church. The Rev. Mark Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. </p><p>Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Buescher Memorial Home, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. </p><p>Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.</p></font>
